This newly built lodge, nestled into the hillside of the Highland Perthshire country side offers a perfect mix of escapism and convenience. Although the popular town of Aberfeldy is a mere 10 minute walk from the lodges you might feel truly immersed in nature when enjoying the large terrace and its panoramic views of River Tay and the surrounding valley. Strathtay Lodges is a small site with around 30 individually owned lodges. At present (Oct 23) the last phase of building is ongoing and is expected to be completed by the end of 2023. Please note that the road is fairly steep with one or two sharp corners so care is needed when driving on site.
Glen View offers accommodation for up to 6 people across 3 bedrooms, two double rooms and one twin. All of the bedrooms are accessed via the spacious and traditonally decorated open plan lounge/dining area/Kitchen. The lounge portion of the room features a log burning stove in the corner between two floor to ceiling windows, so you can enjoy the warm glow at the same time as the incredible views – particularly appealing on a cold winters day with a tipple of your choice! The comfortable leather sofas are angled towards the fire and glass fronted terrace to truly make the most of the unmatchable scenery.
There are two, modern shower rooms in the lodge. One is an en-suite to the master bedroom and the other is situated by the front door.
The chic kitchen is fully equipped, including a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, oven and microwave as well as everything else you could need.
The lodge has private parking which could fit up to 3 cars.
