Nestled in the scenic Scottish countryside, Marchburn truly offers the wow factor.

This dog friendly holiday cottage features a stunning upside down design. As you enter the property into the hall way, the first door to your left leads to a large boot room with lots of storage and a great selection of board games for you to enjoy during your stay. Moving through the house we reach the first bedroom which has two single beds, ample storage and a large television with the spacious, beautifully finished family bathroom just next door. Further down the hall is the second bedroom. This is where you really begin to get an idea about how luxurious this property is. It has an emperor sized, dark wood, four poster bed to make you feel like royalty. The bedrooms large patio doors open out to the stunning garden and offer views for miles. This bedroom also has a huge en-suite with separate bath and shower.

Heading upstairs to the airy open plan Kitchen, dining and living area where the many large windows offer incredible natural light and panoramic views of not only the huge and well loved 7 acres of gardens but also the surrounding hills which are home to lots of local wildlife. The living area features comfy leather sofas and a log burning stove. Through the patio doors you can also access the large balcony where you can enjoy an alfresco meal whilst taking in the Scottish countryside. The garden is huge and fully enclosed, with networks of paths for you to explore and fruit trees which you are welcome to help yourselves to the produce from. It really is idyllic.

Like in all of our dog friendly holiday cottages, you will find a doggy welcome box and in addition, Marchburn has a stairgate that can be used on the boot room so you dog can have their own space.

Although Marchburn is definitely a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, activities and shopping are not hard to find.

Approximately 7 miles or a 15 minute drive from the popular town of Aberfeldy which is host to a large CO-OP supermarket, McDonalds Butchers and Breadalbane bakery. The town also has several lovely Gift shops as well as award winning bookshop, The watermill. There are also plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants. There are  lots of activities on offer such as the local leisure centre with swimming pool, golf course and Birks cinema to name a few.

A short drive from you, in Dull, you will also find Highland Safaris which, as well as having a fantastic cafe, offer Land rover safari tours of the hills and boat tours of Loch Tay!

In the local area there are unlimited options for getting out in nature with stunning walking routes in every direction or rafting/paddle boarding/canyoning trips with the fantastic Unique Adventure Tours Scotland.

The town of Kenmore is also close by and although smaller it still has some lovely places to eat, shopping at the Courtyard and, popular with tourists and locals alike is the beautiful little Kenmore beach.
