River View Cottage sits on the banks of the River Tay in the beautiful conservation village of Kenmore. This spacious cottage sleeps 6 and has 2 double rooms, one with en-suite shower, and 1 twin room.

The cottage has an open plan living, dining, kitchen area that opens out onto the decking via 2 sets of patio doors. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room. There is a large luxury family bathroom with separate shower, bath, basin and WC as well as a downstairs cloakroom.

The cottage sits in an excellent location within the village, offering many amenities and activities within walking distance.

River View Cottage is located in the heart of the conservation village of Kenmore and has decking looking out onto the River Tay. 

Kenmore has a wealth of amenities and activities all within walking distance. Highlights include:

  • The Kenmore Hotel (the oldest Inn in Scotland)
  • Village Post Office
  • Taymouth Marina restaurant
  • Scottish Crannog Centre
  • The Courtyard Deli
  • Boating and water sports centre
  • 2 golf courses
  • Taymouth Castle with riverside walks in its grounds
  • A great loch side beach which is perfect for family picnics and paddling. 

The small town of Aberfeldy is a 10 minute drive away and has a wealth of shops including a large supermarket, butchers, bakers and Deli. Aberfeldy boasts various gift and craft shops, an award winning book shop and lots of places to eat. 

Aberfeldy also has a petrol station, medical centre, dentist, vet, banks and ATMs and Post Office. 

There is also a wide selection of outdoor activities such as golf, water sports, fishing, walking, cycling, white water rafting and even bungee jumping in the area. 

There are numerous castles and distilleries, a community owned cinema and a Theatre. Various festivals and music events run throughout the year.  This great little town really does have something for everyone!
