River View Cottage sits on the banks of the River Tay in the beautiful conservation village of Kenmore. With its deck overlooking the river and its proximity to all the village amenities, this cottage is in a perfect spot for those not wanting to have to use the car too much during their stay. This spacious self catering cottage sleeps 6 and has 2 double rooms, one with en-suite shower, and 1 zip and link room. The cottage has an open plan living, dining, kitchen area that opens out onto the decking via 2 sets of patio doors. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, oven and hob and is well equipped. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room. There is a large luxury family bathroom with separate shower, bath, basin and WC as well as a downstairs cloakroom.
There is a large deck at the rear of the cottage which overlooks the River Tay and has outdoor dining furniture. Below the deck is a gravel area with a rotary washing line and a gate leading out to the river bank path. The area is secure for dogs.

Kenmore has a wealth of amenities and activities all within walking distance. Highlights include:
The small town of Aberfeldy is a 10 minute drive away and has a wealth of shops including a large supermarket, McDonalds Butchers and Breadalbane Bakery. Aberfeldy boasts various gift and craft shops, an award winning book shop and cafe The Watermill and lots of places to eat.
Aberfeldy also has a petrol station, medical centre, dentist, vet, bank and ATMs and Post Office.
Furthermore, there is a wide selection of outdoor activities such as golf, water sports, fishing, walking, cycling, white water rafting for which we recommend Unique Adventure Tours Scotland and even bungee jumping in the area.
There are numerous castles and distilleries and the community owned Birks Cinema. Various festivals and music events run throughout the year. This great little town really does have something for everyone!
