Tatha View is a stunning detached property which has been beautifully refurbished. This dog friendly self-catering property has 4 bedrooms, the master has a full en-suite bathroom with freestanding bath, separate shower and underfloor heating. Bedrooms 3 and 4 share a Jack and Jill en-suite and there is also a family bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle as well as a cloakroom. The layout is over 3 levels and the living area extends out onto a large decked balcony with glass balustrade. Large glazed doors open onto the deck from both the main living area and the snug and the views of Loch Tay are breath taking! The house benefits from an open plan kitchen, dining/living area and there is a separate snug. There is an inset, double sided wood burner in the wall between the snug and the living space so that you can enjoy it from both rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped and a joy to cook in; essential in a self-catering property! It has everything you would expect such as dishwasher, fridge freezer, double oven, induction hob, microwave, bean to cup coffee machine, and all the pots, pans and utensils you could wish for. There is a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
The entire house has been very stylishly furnished with both beauty and comfort in mind. Beautiful linen and towels are provided along with great quality duvets and pillow. The beds are SO comfy you will sleep like a log after a busy day exploring. A great deal of thought has gone in to every choice made. Tatha View has a beautiful woodland garden extending to 1 acre with a selection of trees and a small stream. Wander down the garden and you will find a gate that leads out to the road into the village centre and the loch side beach, which are in easy walking distance. There is lots of room for dogs and children to play, including a fully fenced area providing a safe play space next to the house. There are also steps down to the garden from the large decked balcony. The area outside the snug is under cover and there are easy chairs for relaxing as well as an outdoor dining table and chairs and a Weber charcoal BBQ. The views from this balcony are simply breathtaking and you will find yourself spending a lot of time here.

Tatha View is located on the edge of the conservation village of Kenmore, which is nestled at the eastern end of Loch Tay. The name Tatha means Tay in Gaelic. Kenmore offers a wealth of fantastic amenities and activities including The Courtyard deli (with a fabulous selection of treats and everyday essentials), The Kenmore Hotel with its bars and restaurant (Closed until 2023), The Courtyard Bistro and bar, The Paperboat cafe, Taymouth marina with its amazing Hot Box and Ferrymans Inn and Kenmore golf course. There are lots of local walks and a play park within the grounds of Taymouth Castle. And, best of all, you can simply walk down the garden, pop through the gate and its all on your doorstep!! There is even a great beach on the loch side which is ideal for picnics and paddling. You can hire boats and head out on to the loch or take a cruise with Loch Tay Safaris.
This stunning area of Perthshire is a dream come true for anyone who likes walking. Whether its a stroll with the dog along the River Tay or bagging one of the local Munros (and everything in between) it is all here. Some favourite walks from the door of Tatha View are Kenmore Hill, Drummond Hill and Taymouth Castle grounds circular walk.
Just 6 miles to the east you will find the popular town of Aberfeldy which has a wonderful selection of shops including a large co-op supermarket, petrol station, Breadalbane Bakery and Pantry, fantastic MacDonalds Butchers, chemist, pet shop, post office and some lovely gift and clothing offerings. The award winning Aberfeldy Watermill Bookshop, cafe and gallery must be on your list of places to visit, especially for great coffee and delicious lunches and cakes. The Tay cafe does the most amazing Cullen Skink (and LOTS of other fabulous food) and don’t miss a visit to Piece as well. The Birks Community Cinema has a lovely cafe and bar and you can take a glass of something in with you to watch one of the latest movies.
