The Ghillies Cottage is a cosy wee home from home. This popular dog friendly holiday cottage sleeps 4. There are 2 bedrooms, both of which are en-suite. One has a king size bed and the other has zip and link beds which can be made as twins or a super king. The kitchen is bright and spacious with a view out to the large rear garden. There is a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. The kitchen also benefits from a good selection of pots, pans, china etc. The open plan living space is well laid out and there is an oak dining set in the kitchen area which then leads in to the cosy sitting room which has an electric fire. There are 2 comfy sofas, a flat screen tv with free satellite channels, 4G broadband with wifi router and a DVD player. This area has a large south facing window looking out on the front garden. The cottage has a new (Sept 22) gas central heating system and 2 new shower rooms.
The garden area at the rear of the house leads to forestry and woodland and there are lots of lovely walks from the door. There is a pretty burn which runs down the eastern side of the garden. The town of Aberfeldy is 3 miles away and offers a good range of shops, amenities and attractions.

The popular town of Aberfeldy sits just 3 miles from the cottage and offers a wealth of shops including a large Co-op supermarket, Breadalbane Bakery, McDonalds Butchers, post office and convenience store as well as some lovely gift, clothing shops and award winning bookshop and cafe The Watermill. There is a petrol station at the Co-op as well as an ATM. You will also find an excellent medical centre, dentist, vet, chemist and optician. The Breadalbane community campus is home to a great leisure facility which includes indoor pool, gym, climbing wall and a variety of classes.
There are lots of outdoor activities available in the local area including golf, fishing, water sports, adventure pursuits such as canyoning and white water rafting, canoeing, walking, cycling and many more. The Dewars Aberfeldy Distillery is well worth a visit and Castle Menzies is literally on the doorstep of the cottage. Travel a short distance to Grandtully village and visit the famous Highland Chocolatier for the most amazing (and award winning) hot chocolate and lots of other fabulous goodies.
