The Stables is a beautiful self contained apartment on 2 levels. It sleeps 4 and is dog friendly. This self-catering property sits within the grounds of a smallholding, where the owners live in the main farmhouse. There are dogs, horses and sheep on the property along with ducks and chickens and whilst dogs are very welcome, they must be kept on a lead around the property please. Darnoch is surrounded by lovely countryside and a Core path runs along past the property which is ideal for dog walking. The popular town of Dunkeld is only 3 miles away and there is a good local taxi service for trips to the town for drinks and dinner. The owners of this stunning property have put a lot of thought into creating a stylish and welcoming home from home and the attention to detail is fantastic. There are 2 bedrooms, one double and one zip and link. Both have built in wardrobes so there is lots of storage space available. The family bathroom is located on the upper level. The living room has comfy leather sofas, a dining area and large patio doors leading out on to the covered balcony. Somewhere we are sure you will spend a lot of time! The gorgeous kitchen is very well equipped and has a large American style fridge freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave as well as all the china, utensils, pots and pans you could wish for. If you like cooking, you will love this kitchen! Downstairs, off the entrance hall, there is a utility room (an ideal place for your dog to sleep) and a large shower room, plus the entrance to the integrated garage area. Please note that the property is located along a farm track and we advise 4×4 vehicles if there is snow and ice in the winter.
A good housekeeping deposit of £150 is required in the form of a pre-authorisation on your credit or debit card details.

The pretty little town of Dunkeld sits on the banks of the River Tay and is only a few minutes drive from “The Stables” accommodation. The village offers a variety of shops and amenities as well as restaurants and bars. The focal point of the town is the beautiful cathedral which is certainly worth a visit. There are some lovely walks along the River Tay and if you are a keen cyclist then Dunkeld and the surrounding area is the ideal place for you. Loch of the Lowes, a nature reserve where you can see Osprey, is 10 minutes away. Take a walk through the beautiful wooded Hermitage with its waterfall and wildlife, located just outside Dunkeld and a very popular place to visit. The small city of Perth is just 20 minutes south on the A9 and offers a wealth of high street shops, theatre, concert hall, galleries, leisure centre and so much more. To the north west of Dunkeld, about 20 minutes away is the popular town of Aberfeldy which has a great selection of attractions and activities on offer including white water rafting, Highland Safaris, golf, fishing, hill walking, water sports; the list is endless. The Highland Town of Pitlochry is just 30 minutes north on the A9 from Dunkeld and again offers a selection of shops, restaurants, attractions and theatre.
